Micro fue diseñada minuciosamente para que la cama calefaccionada no sea necesaria, inclusive para imprimir con ABS. Para esto se diseñó una cama que se auto-calibra que trabaja inclusive mejor que la mayoría de las camas calientes.
La impresora puede imprimir modelos de hasta 116mm. La base de impresión es de 109 x 113 mm. Por encima de la altura de 75mm, la base de impresión es de 91 x 85 mm.
Micro fue optimizada para movimientos de 60mm/s. Independientemente de esto, velocidades más elevadas pueden ser alcanzadas a través de software de control open source.
La parte externa de la Micro está hecha de un polímero de alto grado de resistencia, sus rodamientos y otras partes metálicas son de acero inoxidable, su cabezal está hecho de fibra de carbono con rodamientos autolubricantes y por último, el calentador está hecho a base de cerámica aeroespacial.

PLA es un material bio-degradable, fabricado a partir del maíz que es seguro para el medioambiente. Es un poco más flexible que el PLA y es conocido por ser una mejor opción para imprimir partes de ingeniería y objetos que requieran gran precisión. Se sugiere su uso en habitaciones bien ventiladas y el mismo viene en una gran variedad de colores. ABS puede ser bastante flexible cuando se imprime en finas capas: menores a 2.5mm.

PLA: odorless printing , compared to ABS . You can lock more easily. Resists less heat than before deforming ABS . Usually more translucent than ABS . Print faster than with ABS to avoid problems. It is stiffer ( and brittle ) , the ABS has more bending . It is safer to come into contact with food or liquid . It unaffected by common solvents , including acetone.
ABS: It can be treated with acetone to smooth the surface , removing marks layers . It requires more energy to print. It is a widely used industrial plastic 3D printing.
